2.2dti very lumpy idle-fine whilst driving tho?

A friend has asked me to look at His movano van. It idles really rough but drives ok? When it's idling it seems like it's running on 3 cylinders

No eml lights, old fault codes p1405 and p1635

I was thinking possible egr, maf?
Any help would be great as I'm not familiar with the dti

Crank sensors can cause that problem about £40 to replace, good news is they are only held in with one torx screw so if you have access to another van you could swap over and test first before you buy one, Dont get off ebay though unlesss you want to change again in 4 months.

IIrc that engine is nothing like the car dti, isn't it the 2.2dci rebadged from renault?

yes you are right john and its probably the maf had the same on my work van
