Default Odd intermittent steering judder/wobble !

Hi all, as above i have this shake or wobble as the car reaches about 70mph,
other times the car will reach 70 or even 75-80mph and there will be no wobble
at all ! ! carn't feel or see any broken springs, but might not see all of spring..
Don't think its a wheel ballance problem ! what else could this be ?
    Many thanks
    Kcs

Could be the wheels need balancing ?

Mine would wobble/vibrate around 70-80 other speeds were ok, got front wheels balanced and it went away.

check the psi on all your tyres all round i had the same problem twice

    first was wheel balance
second was a stone embedded in the rear tyre

Thanks for your help lads, hope its not a spring ! will try the cheap options first eg: wheel balance, arb's, drop links etc, with the stinky rotten cracked sunk and pot holed roads we all have to suffer, all of the above will probably need doing!!!

i had roughly the same thing until recently. had 2 new tyres on the front wheels, fully balanced & the intermittent wobble has gone.

i suggest you get your front wheels balanced.
