    Default Need pads

Just won a Kestrel Das6 for £55 now i need be some pads, few have recommended chemical guys Hexologic ones. Question is how many do i need? different one for different products? paint needs quite a bit of correction with some Megs UC then I'll be using PBBH and then it will be wax and polish.
I think I might need orange green and white pads but to be honest i get a bit lost in it all

The more I read on detailing the more confused i get

Yep by hand, you do not need to work wax, it goes on then wipe off once it was cured

I've got 3 hexologic at present, black for polishing, red for fine polishing, white for swirls, and yes, I wax on/wax off by hand.

Have you had a look at the 3m ones? What sort of price do you want to pay for pads?

Not really about price as inlaws are getting them for my birthday, just want best value really. As with all things u sometimes pay just for the name.
    What are 3M ones like?

A lot of people like them and are good value for money at £8, plus a name you can trust. I use the megs 7" one's, for the pure and simple reason they overlap the edge of the disc by an inch. But they are a couple more £'s each. Considering you need at least 3 to start with it is a little expensive outlay initially. Think my megs pads were £11 each.
