your 2.2 dti is flapped to death...... one big one on the main intake and four small ones on the inside of the intake manifold..

iv seen these and would love a full explanation to exactly what they do.

no you don't have them on the 2.2dti, no need to worry.
some engines have them to supposedly improve torque at low rpm.
the cdti150 has them and they can be trouble.

IF they break. when i looked into inlet manifold i thought i looked like flaps small circular things on a bar? i may have seen nothing or thought i seen flaps lol
