    Default help with mapp valve

my engine light has come on, on my 2006 vectra 1.9 diesel i have put the code reader on it and it tells me my mapp/maff valve is faulty. can anyone tell me where it is how to get it off and can it be cleaned or has it got to be replaced? help needed please.

if its the maf sensor its located just after your airbox , its about 3" long and round and is jubilee clipped to the airpipe coming out of the airbox

not sure if you can clean them or not

saves me another job i'll try and blow it through with the air compressor and see if it works. my light has been on for months now with no dip in performance so it may be something small. fingers crossed. any idea how much a new one is?

I wouldnt blow anything through it, if It's not broken at the moment it definetly will be after putting high pressure air through It.
