    Question Problem ECC

Since yesterday(*) my ECC started to make some strange noises... At sudden times I can here 5 or 6 tics or knocks coming from somewhere under the glovebox. It sounds as if someone is knocking on the plastic!
It happens sometimes automaticaly (about every 10 minutes if driving at very low speed), or I can force the noise to come by pressing the button for the air recirculation system or by changing the temperature a few degres in + or -; when I drive at higher speed and if I don't touch the ECC it does not seem to occur

    Anyone any idea?
(I hate to explain such things to my dealer because I'm always afraid the noise will have been disappaered while I'm there and will return the moment I drive away...)

(*) I had yesterday my first oil change but I cannot imagine that this got something to do with this problem

Sounds like the ever popular servo motor in the ducting..

it opens and shuts the vanes in the ducts to divert the air... tell them to check the servo motor on the recirculate system..it's just behind the glovebox..

    Thanks for the quick answer

Is this something that gets worse and needs urgent to be fixed? or can it wait until I have some time?

worse case, the servo motor will fail.. it's already not functioning correctly, so if it was mine, i'd leave it till i could get to the dealer, rather than make an urgent trip..
