Default 3M Pads and Polishing Compounds

It's always nice to know people in different places and now I have a contact in the car repair business. We got talking the other day and I said I wanted to start detailing (he assumed professionally), so he told me what he knows and offered to get me the above products at the prices he pays. So today I bought 3 x 1L bottles (Green, Blue and Yellow tops) of compound/polish and 6 pads (2 of each colour) all for £107. As a gesture of good will, I slipped him an extra £10 too. I didn't save too much after I gave him the £10, but at least this way he will (hopefully) do favours for favours!

3M rubbing compound is good stuuf. I paid £25 just for the 1L green one. Brought my headlights up like new after wet n' drying them though!
