    All,

    As titled, how is the sri boot spoiler removed from the boot lid?

    if you mean the little lip.. two 8mm nut inside the boot lid skin and it's stuck on with trim tape all round the edges..

    leaves 6 lovely holes in the edge of the boot..

    if it is the irmisher one they are some times glued on and can be damaged when removed so be very carefull wich type you have ......

    Heat up the SRi kip, gently pull it off, leave the metal brackets on the tailgate as they won't get in the way of the VXR spoiler.

    The added bonus also is that you won;t have to remove the tailgate trim to do the job.

    ah is that course the dealers are too dear ......does it work out the same price with the paint and fitting tho ?? what i mean is you get your spoiler cheap and with the paint it works out the same as the dealer part ?

    my paint is so cheap it's a laugh..

    the biggest blunt is buying the part, often at less than main dealer price..

    its just that i find that the dealers end up beeing cheaper .!!! cus the price you pay is the painted fitted price .so works out the same in the long run some times a little cheaper (some dealers dont tell you its a fitted painted price) or be these parts dirt cheap lol
