    Default HELP! No Acceleration

I removed and cleaned the throttle body yesterday (2.0 Turbo) and afterwards cleaned my engine.

Car started and moved fine after the work (only moved it a few yards)

This morning i drove to work, and it started fine, but when i put my foot down, it revved fine, but almost no pickup on acceleration whatsoever.

Could this be something to do with the throttle body removal/clean/refitting, or should i be looking elsewhere for a remedy?

I cant find the post, but i think i read about this.. would it have anything to do with the ECU "re-learning" about the throttle body now its all cleaned etc?

I have not checked for any fault codes as yet, thought i would ask here first.

Now i am confused! Just been out and read the fault codes... Started it and took it for a drive, and its back to normal! Happy days!

There were two fault codes stored.. I figure its P0122 and P01224, but did a quick video if someone could confirm:

Vehicle : Vectra and a Signum

Trim : top of the line in both

those are TPS or Throttle Position Sensor errors.. I guess it got a little stuck but has now sorted itself..

I looked in my throttle body for the first time a month back and it was as clean as a whistle and needed no cleaning at all, what was yours like then?

    Cheers mate,

Mine was pretty clean to be honest. A quick wipe and it was done. A bit of carbon on the barrel and that was it! Probably won't bother doing it again

As the car picked up later on, I kinda thought it was just a quick brain fart!
