Default Question from a bit of a thickie

A few days ago, I treated the car to the following:

    PB Blackhole
    PB Blacklight
    FK1000

Can I put AG Extra Gloss Protection on top?
Is it best to just put more wax on?

    Thanks.

Totally different composition of polish, and yes on top of these it would be a good synthetic LSP (last step product), remove with cotton cloth then buff up with a good clean! microfibre towel is my own method to a streak / smear free finish.
an alternative to this is a natural wax such as Carnauba (high content white brazillian based if you can get it at reasonable cost)

Oh god dont bother with the EGP, to be blunt, its crap. FK1000 is all the protection you'll need. 2 coats of FK1000 is more than enough, topped up once a month.

EGP wont bond properly on top off all that as well. sealants work best on clean unwaxed paint. Always put wax over Sealants not the other way round.

I had always been told (and read) that EGP was an extra and last step to go on top of and not to be used under SRP, why do you say this? quite curious now

As with most waxes they slightly mist the surfaces of the paint on application ,
As others have said egp will not do anything to improve the finish and secondly will more than likely remove the wax that you have just put on .
If you want to maintain a high gloss finish as well as protect your wax coat,s try something along the lines of chemical guys hybrid V7 which is a gloss enhancer that works equally well on top of waxes as well as sealents

There made for each other mate. I got myself a pot of Bilt Hamber Autobalm a few years ago when it first came out. It has more fillers in, has good longevity and as its a sealant so seals itself in. The down side it its a right pain in the rear to apply and has no beading properties whatsoever.
