    Default C.V. Joint?

I posted on here last week about a clunking from the drivers side front wheel area. I've had the car in at local dealers (who were very good) & they said everything looked fine & they couldnt find anything wrong with the suspension etc.
They noticed 1 of the rubber mounts for the air filter box was missing & was causing the filter box to move slightly which made a chapping noise, they replaced it at no cost to me & we thought that would be the end of it.
I even took the car out a run with the service manager & everything seemed ok.

The noise is now back again it only happens when the steering is on full lock when turning right. It doesnt happen everytime i turn but when it does happen it clunks 2 or 3 times in a row. Does this sound like a C.V. Joint on its way out?

A CV joint will be a Click rather than a clunk.

You could pull back the gaiters and repack them with cv grease, just to put your mind at rest.
