Gear stick wobble sorted now

Hi guys well when I bought the car there is a lot of play in the gearstick when in gear, the car went In to get it fixed under warranty, Toyota dealer as this is where I bought the car from, they said it were stretched gear cables so ordered ones In, then check mines where perfect, so said it's not them, they said it would need a whole gear assembly, which was costing the dealer £450+vat then fitting on top, so the garage I bought the car from said sorry they can't pay that as they had to pay out for 2 back tyres to start with and they would refund me my money back for the car as it wasn't worth their while to pay for the repair, I love the car and said forget it al sort it myself.

I forgot all about it till this morn and thought stuff it al pull the gaitor off and have a look around, I noticed to the right of the gear selector the White part that goes into the dark grey metal part had a load of play in it



So had a nose about and spotted this lying on the carpet beside the gear assembly



A little bit of glue and popped it back in and the gear stick is nice and tight again, now it feels like a new car to drive, I'm over the moon



So Toyota stick to ur jap crap and leave Vauxhall alone as u Do NOT have a clue lol
