Performance chips

Hi all.

I have been looking at these plug in chip modules on eBay that are around £90. Some are more some a little less and there seems to be about three different makes. They all seem the same with pretty much identical performance figures.

Has anyone bought and installed one of these and do they do what it says on the tin? Mrs H is of the understanding that it would be purchased for it's fuel efficiency claims but I'm more interested in the extra 30bhp I am told I will get.

I would be glad to hear of any feedback from user or those in the know regarding these. It does seem good value for money on £/bhp ratio and if the economy claims are true it will pay for itself in a year at current fuel costs.
