    Default Pedal Trim Removal

Hello all, I am sure someone knows how to do this?

I am trying to remove the piece of plastic trim from around the pedals to allow me to remove the brake and clutch pedal sensor. In the old Vectra this was quite easy, a few plastic supports and you simply pop it out gently.

I have removed the three obvious torx screws, but nothing has moved or seem like it wants to come out. The only other way I can see it comes apart is to remove the lower plastic part from underneath the steering column, but then thats joined to the headlamp switch . I am normally handy with trim and panels so I feel a bit stupid now!

Ok, maybe now I need a crowbar and hammer, still can't remove and there are now no screws securing the trim. If this is how well they build the vectras these days I will remove all spare screws to lighten the car!
