    Default Polishing wheels?

What do you guys use to clean your wheels? Do any of you use polish or a wax?

Got a new set of wheels and waxed them as I find they are easier to keep clean but wondering what everyone else does?

I'd hate to do it to the wheels I have on at the mo they would look like they have been chewed over by a shredder

If you want to remove little scratches (swirls) you can polish them, before you wax them. I use lake country cones for polishing, with various polishing produckts (depends on the amount of scratches) my wheels. But after that i wax them and i use either collinite 845 or wheelwax for it. The collinite is a long lasting strong wax which is also used in the industrie to wax powerlines.

For cleaning wheels i would recommend carpo iron.x and and a strong alloy cleaner such as Poorboys world spray&rinse.

Just done mine today, all wheels off, scrubbed inside and out with a strong APC and then treated with Poorboys wheel sealant. I put 4 coats on over about 3 hours. Then each wash I put another layer of Poorboys sealent on. Do a major clean once every 6 months, insides usually takes some AG tar remover to get the crud off.

Afterwards when washing most of the wheel gunk will come off with a hose / power washer.

I find that there are not any real good wheel wax/sealents that last, due to the heat from the brakes.
I find that cleaning the wheels on a regular basis is as good as anything.
