Default Smoking after putting foot down

Hi everyone. Newby to this, so please be patient with me.
I have a 150 cdti 06 reg estate. Seemed perfectly ok then put my foot down a bit and then started smoking, a little at first then constantly. Not black but blue/white even at tick over. Dealer said turbo valve, and promised to replace. Had the turbo checked and all fine, he has said now that the dpf was clocked and has had it cleaned or defraged or something. But has given me a new dpf in case it happens again once the warranty has finnished. Would a blocked, or partially blocked dpf cause smoking? The car does have more power now and seems ok, but just feel something is not quite right...
Many thanks in advance for any help.
    Michael

White smoke all the time even at idle indicates your dpf doin a regen and I the guy has knocked the insides out it will continue to smoke most of the time it will use up all your fuel like a v8 and the only way to stop it is to fit a new dpf with the insides intact or remove the dpf software by means of a remap
