    Default Front Fogs Keep Fusing!!!

Hi guys, like the title says my front fog lights keep fusing, specifically the passenger side one. I haven't changed the drivers side one ever!! I've checked and its sealed fine, no water or anything getting in, maybe a faulty wire or something??? Any ideas???

If it is blowing the fuse, then the wire must have chaffed, allowing it's inner conductor to short out to chassis earth.
Or further up the wiring, there maybe water getting into a connector.
But this is unlikely as the weather has been fine and dry recently.

I would trace the wiring back from the fog-light, towards the big connector on the left side of the radiator grille (near the bottom edge)..
It also carries the wires for the temperature sensor /sender..

This wire then continues in two directions..
The temp sensor wires head towards the rear of the engine bay (left side) and has blue and blue/white wires.

The foglight wires should head towards the centre of the engine bay (under the main fuse box) into the underhood electrical centre..

Chances are that water could be getting into the big connector near the grille, or less likely, one of the big connectors underneath the engine bay fuse box.

    You're welcome...

Note it is a standard understanding that Left is the near-side of the vehicle (or UK passenger side)

Otherwords left is as viewed by the driver when seated and looking forward.

So - the connector is low down, on the same side of the radiator grille, as the winscreen washer spout and the battery...

He's in God's Country. Co. Donegal. The left side is the same here in Ireland. I had the same problem with my Corsa C, never got down to the problem before I sold it a few weeks ago. Hope you can sort it.

Ah - I've never been to Northern Ireland nor Eire, so couldn't be certain as to which side you drive on... hence why I quoted UK passenger side..

Nothing worse though to be facing the front of your car and looking back over the bonnet and saying... "Robsey said the left side" and not finding anything, because you are looking to your left and not the car's..

I'll let you guys know soon, its not even the fact that it fuses all the time (although that is quite annoying) its more the fact that its always flashing on the dash Got a lot of work on this week but I'm taking Wednesday off so I can check a few things out then.
