vx paints have been classed as soft for about the last eight years the only vecs that still had the medium paint were the very first ones that came out like the metro blue and the single stage paints like white and red.
its swings and round abouts as to what is the best its probably worse to have a hard paint like bmw,s or vag group or the ultra soft paints from renault and citreon both have there bad sides at least with vx you have a chance to correct the paintwork , with renault and citreon it is so soft and also very thin that is is almost impossible to do a decent restoration
Driving vauxhall,s for 30 + years
and still loving it
ahh well as long as i can get the paint to a reasonable finish with minimal swirls and scratches i'll be happy
After I watched the guy at megs do reevo's bonnet, I was blown away, a rel good finish can be achieved and swirl's can be near enough gone, in fact in sun light you would not notice them.
