So now im back to maby changing parts.. but what to start with..

    Pressure sensor
    Pressure regulator
    High pressurepump

I have read the "field remedy".. but mine is only periodic (spelled wrong).. but i have no way of checking the pressure.. (dont have a manometer to test with).. i do have access to a tester for the other tests..

but dosnt help, when its only comming on every 3-5 time i drive the car.. (the sensor and regulator is easy to change.. about 5 minut job i think..). but still like 200£ (uk price).. for those to.. if its not all the way back in the lift pump in the tank..

WEll just tried the sugegtion from the link..

1: cant check.. dont have a manometer..

2: well at idel it was about 4900 kpa (ustable...)

3: well i read it wrong first... so i checked with the regulator power on.. there it said 2,4 V.. then i took the power from the regulator.. then the fun part began..

now 2: was 380 kpa (acroding to my tester) and 3: was 0,9

    what to do now?

Just changed the Fuel Pressure sensor and Fuel pressure regulator... So far no problems.. but before the change the car died 2 times on its way home..

hopefully the 2 parts have cured the problem.. (could not determin wicht was faulty)

if my engine isnt at the "max" on the oil stick, my car is more noisy..

And yes while the error was there.. it was lumpy, noisy, and drove like crap.. if it wanted to start.

    This might help:

The HP pumps are repairable. If you can get parts.

    http://www.vectra-c.com/forum/showth...ht=repair+pump
    TIS 2000 gives:

The following test steps must be performed in the given order. If a fault is found in one test step, the subsequent test steps can be skipped.
    • Execute field remedy No. 1614
    -
    • Turn ignition OFF and ON
    • Delete trouble codes
    • Drive the vehicle in different driving conditions (engine speed and engine load conditions) over a considerable distance. Pay attention to unusual noise and other system irregularities.
    -
    • Read and record again trouble codes including status after the test drive.
    -
Of which the latter blue bit is
    Function Checks
    • Check Engine Oil Level
    Important:
The fuel system is very sensitive. Work should be done with high cleanliness and care. Air in the fuel system can cause damage to the high-pressure fuel pump. That's why the vehicle must never be driven till the fuel tank is empty.
    • Check fuel tank for correct fuel sort content
    • The fuel reserve must be greater than 5 L
    • Check the concerned system for leaks
    • Check connected hoses and tubes for kinks, damage etc.
    • Point of breaks / scuff marks at the fuel or injection lines
    • Check connections of the fuel lines (Quick Fittings).
    • Check condition of the three-way fittings.
    • Check the correct fitting of the connections and sealing.
    • (use only sealing, that is approved by the vehicle manufacturer)
    • Check tightening-torque of the hollow screws.
    • Check fuel filter
    • Plugging, leakage, air or water in fuel system
Check for pressure decrease in the fuel supply section.
After successful test/fault repair proceed to the next test step

And the error code is back.. and virtualy undrivable... took like for ever to get home from holliday... 350 miles..

and was not allowed over 3000 rpm (most times less) then it went like on 2 cylenders.. and max speed of 60 mph..

Damm it took forever.. what should have taken 6 houres.. took 9½ hour.. same errro as originally..

Should i go right off after the pump or the regulator ?
