CDC40 Opera DAB Wiring help

Hi need some help, just got a cdc 40 opera with DAB to replace my cd30. The wiring I got with it is the full dash loom, can I just unpick the wires I need to connect the dab box or do I need to put the full loom in? If so do I need to take the dash out and is there a how to. Cheers

If it was me doing it i would write down all pins on my radio side plus colour then do the same on the loom you have with cdc40, In theory you should only be short of a few wires that go directly to dab box see below

I think you might be the 1st to carry out such a job (I could be wrong) How bout you make the How2 with loads of pics

For DAB, you may need:

1. install the antenna loom with amplifier.
2. wire the dab unit (power, CAN, audio) Canbus can be found in REC.
3. add the necessary wires to your front quadlock connector.
