Those first ones look just like the megs ones to me. I'd give mark a call at autobrite or someone at clean your car a ring for their advice
Now I need a turbo to keep up!

They are both fine, but would suggest not using the cutting one, just the polishing and finishing one.

always start with the least abrasive and work up to a more abrasive if your not sure how much correction you need and how hard the paint it

Just to let you know ralph, I have just bought 3 x new pads, 1 polishing to use with UC, 1 polishing to use with my polish and 1 finishing to apply a glaze. Wax by hand.

You will probable find that the mequiars 7 inch pads are a little too big , they tend to split around the lip.
Try the 6 inch 3M pads instead they are a lot easier to control than the meq,s or the chemical guys hexlogic pads And around the same price as ralph,s original post link

Will they fit on a 6" backing plate ok or will the smaller one need to be purchased?

I'm using the Hexologic pads, black and red, got mine from CYC, no problems so far.
