Just a quick question, what are these plug holes for? The one on the right is a blue plug and the the one on left is white. Is it some thing good and cheap to add and will it have to be tech 2ed?

Bottom left is for Park Pilot
One on the right is for Traction Control (TC).
There's a thread on here somewhere which shows all the buttons although, as usual, I can't remember it.
TC switch is for some of the older cars where you can turn it off. IIRC the facelift cars have it on permanently, so the button wouldn't do anything.

im going see if i have the traction control button later
Also 1.8s don't have traction control, so don't have the button. It'd be nice to have it, but I suspect it'd be way more work than just learning to be a bit lighter on the throttle!
Maybe a silly question but what is the park pilot for? Iv never heard of it! Will it be af any use to me? Or is it just another light button that I can add to the dash to make look like I got lots more gimiks!
Park pilot is the front & rear parking sensors. To be honest you will not gain anything by fitting the switches, only cosmetic purposes as you said, and to be honest some don't light up when you fit the switch as you need the rest of the gear fitted to activate the circuit.
