iPhone 3g vs iPhone 4????

Can any of you guys help, i currently have just an iphone 3g, would it be worth me shelling out for a nice new iphone 4?? Is there a bigger better difference?? is it worth me selling my 3g and puttin x amount of £££ to a newer model? Can anyone speak from experience thats had the 2 handsets?? Cheers. And is it just hear say the iphone 5 is out very soon??? As this will impact the price of the 4!!!

iphone 5 is due out in the summer mate and if you really fancy the iphone 4 i'd wait till then as you would be sure to get a better deal

the differences depends on what software you have on the 3g i updated to ios4 which is the iphone 4s origional software and the 3g is now slow as hell, basically the processor and amount of ram cant cope with iphone 4 software, apple has also stopped support for the 3g now, if i had the cash i would deffo swap my 3g for a 4 or why not go 3gs? way quicker than the 3g

My 3g has been updated with iso4 software and makes everything delayed like unlocking kepad, opening txts, and answering calls! And the battery is naff. A girl at work has offered me £200 for it so i mite take it, put another £200 in and get the iphone 4. Does that sound sensible?? Or is it ludicrus on a phone??

Had the 3g, then I got the iphone 4. Its good, but TBH it makes no difference in my opinion, some of the features with the 4 are good. But if your not that bothered then hold out for 5

Bite her hand off mate if she's offering £200, O2 will only give u £105 for it. Personsally I'd wait for the 5 or at least wait till then for 4 is cheaper. And it's definitely worth upgrading. Missus has got the 3 and sooooo slow compared to my 4 after updates.

i had a 3gs got off fleebay,my o2 contract was up in january,o2 wanted £140 for me to change to ip4..............eff that i thought............oh you need an iphone tarriff for it to work.................liars,pulled 3gs from my pocket running perfect on my £25 o2 contract,so left o2 shop,went straight into fones-4-u,traded in my old n95 & n95 8gb,upgraded to iphone 4 on £30 a month 1000mins & 600 txts,so didnt cos tme to upgrade,if someone has offered you £200 id be in there like a flash,now 5 might be delayed till nearer xmas as they dont want ANY probs with them at all,plus they are looking about ipad3 before end of year
