Mirror glass fell off

Had a strange one happen today. Got in the car to move it to the middle of the driveway to wash it and as started to reverse i heard a smash and the passenger mirror class had fallen off. The backing is still there its like the glass is glued onto the plastic and its just fell away.

Wierd. Another trip to the scrappies then lol

Noticed mine wobbling the other day so took it off (before it fell off) and glued it on with sillicone

Mine fell off when some clown scelped my mirror. Paid £12 for one from ebay.

Mine are the opposite, I've had 4 attempts at getting mine off, I kept giving up or I'd have smashed them. Finally got them off today to swap my mirror covers over.

yeah they're crap - mine fell off too.
vx must have stuck these on with pritt stick in the factory.

That has happend to my motor Graeme. Cost me £27 trade for a new glass.

Same happened to mine a few weeks back, after clipping a wall with the mirror cover at about 1mph!

Both of mine came off this week! Time to break out the super-glue I think.

Yesterday I had the same problem. It fell off when I was riding about 120km/h (passenger side). I've turned back and started to look for it. Unbelievable, it hasn't been broken :-) Today I glued it with special glue. It looks ok for me.
