Default best way to remove silicone

i have my eyebrows siliconed on, i am going to remove them to have them painted but obviously i am going to have to get rid of the excess silicone, any easy way of removing? or am i going to have to pick away for hours?

Plus, would leaving the brows overnight in petrol harm them in anyway? just want to get all paint off like that rather than sanding

Screwfix do a Silicon Remover for about £10, then I'd use a Safety Razor blade. Just remember to take your time and tape one end of the blade up.

you could use stanley blade to cut off slowly. then brake cleaner on rag to get excess silicone off afterwards.

I think it's vinegar that breaks down silicone. If it's not there is a relatively harmless chemical that does.

Careful as the headlight lens is plastic.

Some chemicals will damage the plastic. making a cheap job very expensive.

Basically anything without Acetone in it (Nail Varnish remover etc....) This may perish the plastic, not to mention what it'd do to your headlight seals.......
