Question Passenger Curtain Air bag problem

    Hello

I have a reoccurring fault with my Vectra-C 56 plate Passenger Curtain Air bag. Air bag warning light keeps coming on, fault is low voltage.

Problem only occurs when it is sunny and the bodywork warms up, I can clear the fault at night after it has cooled down or first thing in the morning.

When testing during the day and bodywork is hot/warm that fault is constantly present, when the body has cooled down fault disappears and can be cleared.

I have had half the roof lining down and checked all along the air bag but I’m unable to locate the connector (am I being dumb or something )

Really would like to get to the bottom of this issue as it is becoming a pain clearing the fault code every night.

    Please help

The connector is towards the back, you have a trim in your boot area which is held by one or two torx srcews and then should pull off with a little persuasion. connector will have an orange clip which pulls up about 5mm then green part will pull out..BE CAREFUL these are quite delicate

only thing i can suggest is when you took the connection off the bit that slides up to release the connector has a small tag at the bottom check this because when it is pushed down it breaks the circuit if you take a picture with it unconnected i should be able to tell you if it's ok as i had this problem
