    Default vec b heavy clutch

    hi guys any idea why the clutch would be heavy? also the biting point is pretty high, it doesnt need pushed to much to change gear and it feels like the gears jump out when i go to change..? 2.2 dti..

    Several things it could be, from the cheap and simple to the very expensive...

    Worn out slave cylinders aren't a rare occurence on the C... How many miles has your car done? High biting point is also a sign of normal wear and tear on the clutch plate.

    Something I found with the clutch on the C is that it has to be pushed fully to the floor to keep the hydralic system working properly. I've always felt mine travelled too far and the bottom inch or so didn't do anything, so I fitted my own stopper behind the clutch pedal. This worked for a while, but after a few days the gears started to grate as the clutch wasn't disengaging properly. Removed the stopper from the pedal, pushed and released the clutch a few times, all was fine... Very odd...
