    Default 2.2 dti owners

hi guys i changed my oil to 0/30 castrol egde. what a huge difference it picks up quick and drives smoother. not as loud on idle.our dti is an auto and it has made gear changes a dream.
even the mrs noticed the change without her knowing it had an oil change !
    bye bye to 5/30.

Only 0/30 or 5 / 30 is recommended for your car . That'grade oil of 10/40 is way to thick for a turbo diesel in my opinion.

Did 20k with 5w50 in my 3.0CDTi and the engine was running superb, very little blow by...now with 5w30 I get a constant puff of fumes when I remove the filler cap. Thicker is better if you drive like a looney

Think mine is 5/30 (magnatec) but I'd have to check the bottle lol, does seem a bit louder than with the edge I had in over winter but it seemed to get through a lot of 0/30 edge.
