    Default Vectra C SRI 2.2 dual rear exhaust - what is needed

    Hello.

    is there anyone that have mounted 2 exhaust rear silencer to their Vectra C 2.2 SRI (Z22SE) ?

    if yes, what rear silencer is fitted to the rear of the car ?
    and what parts is needed ?

    do i have to buy the center box to ?

    Yup, all I did was buy a second hand 2.0T twin system. I cut the twins system before the Y, did the same to my system and then slid the 2.0T's system over mine and clamped it up, jobs a good un, cost me £60

    so in the principal i can use the middle section fron an 2.2 Direct ?
    did the y fit over the original middle section of an 2.2 non direct ? (was this y welded on ?)

    I dont know the size of the pipe on the direct, all I know is that its a different part number. Yes the turbo pipe is larger than the 2.2's so I just slotted it, slid it over and clamped it like a normal clamped zorst section. If I remember rightly, the y and the centre section is all one part, hence the reason I cut it.

    dont suppose you know the dimensions as i have the set up sat here waiting to go on and was gonna buy a sleeve but not sure what size to get

    Sorry mate no. If its a NET's system you have then you dont need a sleeve, just cut two notches in the end of the pipe so it can crimp, then pop on some exhaust putty and clamp it up.
