Was just curious to see what the difference was in people insurance premiums if they didnt declare their mods.

if i didnt declare any mods it would be £235.00 cheaper a year (best price) mods declared:-Engine chip 11-25% inc BHP , filters (non standard),Suspension lowered (<5cm), Brakes - uprated, Bodykit (optional extra), Alloy wheels (optional extra) .

I would never not declare them but was just wondering?

on a side note, do people get breakdown cover with their insurance or buy it separately.

Breakdown cover.. Depends what you use car for i used to have mine with car ins but now tow a caravan so use caravan club breakdown (Mayday by Green Flag) Also depends how deep your pockets are because you could even go for one of the repair and pay then claim back policies as they are much cheaper.. Its a case of what you want from the cover to be honest mate..
