Default CDTI 150 on the Dyno..

Took the Vectra along to the Mig rolling road day at Janspeed Salisbury.

Unfortunately, their Dyno couldn't do Torque, as they need an HT lead for engine speed, which is a bit hard to do on a Diesel

The printout came out at 135 and 137 BHP at the wheels.

If I assume 10% drivetrain loss, then It gives me a figure of ~149BHP at the flywheel.

Have seen some online converters that add 10BHP and divide by 0.9, which would give me around 160ish..

Whatever, I'm not quite pleased that it 'does what it says on the tin', and possibly a bit better..

Seems to delivery the power quite consistantly as well.. Just need to find a RR that can get a engine speed reading, caus then I could get torque and relate the curve to rpm as well..

this is a good rwhp result for a standard cdti150.
the transmission losses are definitely more than 10% - more like a minimum of 14%
so, the engine is producing at least 155 bhp (assuming the RR was accurate)

this is good, but not unique. Some standard 150s genuinely put out over 165 bhp, we have seen at vec-c rolling road days.
