    Unhappy Fibrglass resin on paintwork........Help

Left car at tyre fitter yesterday, next door is a fibreglass mouldings business.

Went out to car this morning and nearside of car has blobs of fibreglass resin on it and load of tiny resin spots.

Tried to remove it..so far used -
cellulose thinners, WD40, T-Cut, tar remover

The stuff will not budge........Any Ideas

Just not my month I think

Fibreglass mouldings place shut today, so will be going back up Monday to complain.

Thought the best idea was to try and get it off today, before it set too much. No joy it is like concrete now.

My mate who works in a bodyshop, reckons it will need to be buffed down and resprayed. Only good thing about that is I only need to make a token payment for materials and labour is free.

As stated before used to be a laminator car was constantly having bits of resin on it so always kept it well waxed nine times out of ten it would just peel off try using a soft plastic credit card or similar to scrape it off [try warming it first) good luck

Will try a hairdryer and acetone in the morning, see if I can soften it up a bit and try and peel it off without causing too much damage.

There are 6 big blobs and 20-30 little spots, could take a while

    Thanks for the replies
