Default Do you think I a petition would help?

    Hi peeps
As you all know, im having a terrible time of it with my new Vectra VXR.
Do you think that I should get a petition going on here?
Just names and postcodes of people so that I can send it to Peter Vardy head office?

you think that would do any good? Im runnin gout of ideas.
Me and my bf are planning on collecting the VXR today, but them parking it on the road outside the dealership with the windows covered in the whole sorry saga so that prospective customers can see whats been going on

Walk in with an official looking friend dressed smartly in a suit. Get them to confirm every point in your case so far, and warn them you are recording them. Your friend should stay silent and just make notes. If they ask who he is, just say he is with me! It might scare them into doing something.

Well whatever you do don't start shouting or swear at the staff. That's how to end any negotiations on the spot.

I was at a well known chain store recently (nothing to do with cars) where I had a legitimate complaint. Their tactics were to provoke me into doing exactly that. Then they could say I abused the staff so they had no choice but to ask me to leave. It didn't work. Just stick to the facts!

If were you i would make it very public, thier website says they have a vauxhall franchise and in this current climate any bad publicity that would steer prospective customers away from them is not what they would want. Have you been in touch with vauxhall direct, they also dont need bad publicity ! Make yourself a nuisance to them, keep phoning and going to see the dealership manager. Decide what you want, car repaired, replaced or full refund and stick to it. Good luck.

That could actually work if it is approached in the correct tone and manner.

Although Vectralicker why not contact the local press which is near to the dealer? And prior to doing this, tell them you're doing it.

Maybe even facebook too. Just your experience as a customer with them.

Or get another friend to go in first (pretend you don't know them) and they get to the point of almost closing a deal on an expensive car. Then you can come in and say your problems (calmly) and they can look at you and then come up with an excuse and walk out!!! Let them think you are already losing them business! Lol
