    Default Saab 150

Had a look at a Saab 57 plate 150 today for a friend.
He said when the EML light comes on he loses power, switch engine off and start its OK.
So i plugged it in, but only on EOBD as i don't have Saab on my scanner and it came up with air intake leak, witch it hasn't?
Boost pipes OK, cleaned boost sensor, swirl bar just hanging on
No hissing from the inter cooler.

My mate had a similar problem on his Astra 150cdti it was the boost solenoid valve blocked, you have the two vacuum pipes on the solenoid then a vent to atmosphere on the back it was the vent that was blocked.

A system leak would be determined by the pressure, flow and temp, so the MAF and MAP/temp sensors could both be culprits.
