    Default Heater Blowers

    Hi guys, everytime i turn my ignition on the blowers automatically start blowing at settin 7, is there a way to stop it?

    If you have climate control then it will do that, you can adjust the cabin tempreture to one that is nearer to the outside temp" or turn the big knob in the middle to a manual setting, these are what I do to stop it blowing my head off when I first get in.

    so its normal and most vec-c's with climate control do this?

    Yes. you see the sensor on the top of the dashboard "reads" the tempreture in the cabin, then adjusts it to what you have set it too, ie, if you set the CC to lets say 19 degrees and the sun has warmed the cabin to 26degrees then the sensor will say it is too hot in the cabin so the CC will need to reduce the tempreture down to 19 degrees so it will blow like made, to cool the inside of the car, hope this makes sence to you now. you might notice that on a cool morning the blower will not start of blowing like mad, as it has no heat to give you as the engine is cold, then as the engine starts to warm up , you will notice that the blower will start to blow harder as there is more heat for it to blow out.

    mine will only do that if the screen defost is selected. once its unpressed its fine.

    Veccy c gsi, glad to be of some help, but you must have been very cold when the CC was fully working. if you in the morning when the window,s are misted up press the DEF buttton it will blast at full poewr and demist the screen.
