    Lightbulb Vectra c has MAF??

    Hello everyone
    I want 2 know if vectra c has MAF sensor or not?
    Mass air flow sensor..
    If yes, what is its position?

    Yes, follow the tube coming from the airbox lid, there will be a cable coming out of it. That's the MAF sensor.

    Normally if there is an error with the MAF the Engine Warning Light will come on AND the engine will go into Safe Mode
    I use this as a test of the system as it is one of the easiest main sensors to get to

    you can take it off and clean it with component cleaner, brake and clutch cleaner will do the same job...

    Tech2 or Opcom will show MAF specific fault codes if it has a problem... you can buy replacement MAFs from vauxhall parts specialists on the net a lot cheaper than the dealers.. Replacing the MAF at the right price it will be cheaper than paying an hour for you car to plugged in to diags..
