    I'm Going to de-cat my 2003 Siggy. Soooo which bit do I bash the guts out of and where is it??????

    It's after the flexi pipe. First box if I remember right.

    EDIT:

    Flexi, cat, centre box, rear box. Yeah it's the one after the flexi.

    Yeah, cheers mate thats the one I was just looking at going to give the de-cat a go first thing tomorrow. Has anyone got any hints or hidden pit falls I may encounter?

    Only thing I would possibly advise over knocking the guts out of the cat is replacing the cat with a straight pipe.. this is what I did originally before getting a full de-cat system.. just saved me a bit of time, and also got me 20 quid from my local scrap dealer for my old cat!

    Dti steve let us know hot it goes mate I don think you will be disappointed mate it's let's te engine breath sonmuch better

    Ok then today is the day....I'll take some pics and post them. Its a tad damp today but i'm not going to let that stop me.

    well its done...... The car seems to run smoother and is more free reving. when floored. It seemed to take off with more urgency.I like it....
    I just bashed the guts out of the box easy to do.

    Mine took about 20 odd miles and a couple of starts to fully adjust to no cat being there, it should get a little better yet.
