Default To sell or not to sell

    Hi All,
I am thinking of selling my 150 cdti veccy, it is a 08 with 86k on the clock.
The car had altenator, fly-wheel and cruise control done at 59k miles and has been going perfect since.
If I keep this car will it cost me a fortune.
I have grown fond of the vec, so guys I would be very grateful for your advice.
    Thanks All

You have had all the common problems done so I would keep it.

Did the inlet manifold get upgraded by then? That is the only other thing that could be a problem, except the usual service items.

If in doubt, look at either the AA or RAC Breakdown Repair Warranties, the AA one is available until you reach 100K miles

The law of averages is that at 59K the big ticket item, the DMF was replaced as an 08 it will have the revised inlet manifold so it should be OK,,,,
having done 86K it is a hypothetical 30% into the life cycle you got from the first DMF so it still has a long way to go, so on that, it would seem logical to get another year out the car anyway?
