    Default WooHoo Detailing Day Sunday

Well i've just been granted permission by swmbo that I can have the whole day to my self Sunday, So weather permitting I'll be spending the entire day with the car. Recently i've bought a few new products ( Bilt Hamber clay kit, Dodo Juice Born Slippy lube, AG SRP, Megs Ultimate Compound, PB Blackhole Glaze and AG HD Wax) so I thought i'd try my hand at a bit of detailing. I've also still got to fit my new fog light which has been in my boot since before Christmas and to paint my calipers. I doubt i'll get it all done but you never know.

Don't worry, just take your time, and use plenty of lube (oo-er) and you'll be fine with the clay. As for the HD Wax, just spread it out thinly, leave for at least 30 mins, and you'll stand back and admire

if its hot and sunny just make sure you have a nice shady spot to work in H .....or you might have to rinse after doing a panel at a time, cos that claying is a ****** if it dries on the car ..

Not too bad, I got know where near as much done as i'd hoped as was suffering from a massive hang over due to my friends wedding on Saturday. I washed and dried and then clayed the whole car. Then I went over the paint work with Megs Ultimate Compound, followed by a coat of PB Black Hole Glaze and then treated my tyre's with Megs tyre stuff (whcih is very good). By that point I was absolutely knackered so I didn't get a change to wax the car but i'm hoping to get that done tonight. I have got Pics but they are on my phone and will try and get them up tonight. TBH even with out the wax she looks stunning and i'm well pleased. but am aching today lol.

Bilt Hamber and Born Slippy? Told Born Slippy is good, so I bought some, but isn't Bilt Hamber the one that's lubed with water?
