    Default Cutting Compounds

I feel like trying a new cutting compound and have been looking at Megs #105 Ultra Cut Compound. I already have #83 & #80 so is there any point? Is it a diminishing abrasive?

Is there is a better alternatives?

This is for Subaru paint too if it helps any decision making
Now I need a turbo to keep up!

Sig I believe all the Megs # have diminishing abrasive's. Ive read a few posts on DW that Subaru paint is soft and sticky and hard to correct easily. Is it badly swirled?

Its pretty bad tbh. I wasn't sure the 105/205's were diminishing? Thought they were dependant on pad pressure?

    Off to have a look

Edit: just ordered some Cquartz IronX and some CG Blacklight. Still not sure on the de-swirling polish I need, if I need any at all!

I spoke to the guy at megs about 105 and 205 and he said, ultimate compound is better than both and safer.

From a total detailing noob, i'd say Megs Ultimate Compound. according to them you could use this everyday for a year and still not take away the clearcoat?
