Right lads, just went to fill up screenwash and the bonnet release catch won't open, the leaver is really loosened shows no sign of pulling the catch, is there anyway to get into the bonnet tighten it

Try and pull the cable behind the release lever, using pliers
if cable has come off on lever end then can pull with pliers.. if it has gone at latch end under bonnet then you have problems..... like to know the answer?
