The more negative the 'Mag' the brighter it is.
i've been using it for a couple of years, it's a great site.
A good way to impress a lady or confuse your mates is to check the iridium flares in the next 24hrs, work out where it'll be from the altitude & azimuth, then just at the right time say 'watch this' and point to the sky where it's about to appear.
