    Default 3.2 gsi front shockers

    just spoke to gb autospares about this listing http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Vauxhall-VECTR...ht_2037wt_1139

    and they told me that these are not for my car as its a gsi and it will be 130 quid instead of the price listed they having me on or is there any truth in it. cheers

    just need a simple yae or nae. will these fit my car with a set of 45mm springs? not got the budget to buy anything half decent so budget rubbish will have to do. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Shock-absorber...#ht_4550wt_905 cheers

    Not true - the shocks are all the same.It's the springs that are different in that they are slightly shorter.

    he said something didnt match with my chassis number and i needed the more expensive 1's i thought the were all the same, but does it mean that the rod its self is longer? i know they will prob not last as long as they should with 45mm springs but longevity isnt on the top of my list just now! but just been looking at lmf for the b4's there not that much dearer and prob my best bet.

    B4's are a will bottom out on -45 shocks as there the same size as Elite, Club, LS shocks.

    right so b4's are a nogo with 45mm springs then. so what do i need to get as nothing on ebay seems to be for my car

    just got off the dog an bone to my local motorfactors, took my reg and said hes got them in stock for 38 quid each all in, taking a guess there prob not the right ones at that price was expecting a little more expensive, will find out in the morning tho

    Wrong, the sri, gsi and vxr have shortened sport shocks.

    Those shocks on ebay will be for the 3.2v6 elite

    Yeah you'd lose all of the stiffness and there would be the possibility of the springs jumping out of their seats
