I ran my power cable down the nearside, round the back of the boot into the offside cubbyhole, and the rca cable & signal cable down the offside to make sure there wasn't any issues!

how about monting the amps on the under side of the parcel shelf?
Two reasons:
Parcel shelf isnt really sturdy enough.
Never mount an amp upside down, its not good for them. Heat doesnt escape properly.
I've got myself a DLS A7 5 channel to go in in the next few weeks so one amp and 1000w
just looked at your amp, wouldnt call it a 1000w amp though - but that's another discussion. Don't have any experience with cars, but I've done some home theatre installs. Why not use a class D amplifier in a car? - less weight, less heat, smaller. Heat and space is always an issue in a car - unless you have no practical use of your boot at all
DLS A7 - 2 x 200w RMS (bridged@4ohm) + 600w@1ohm sub channel = 1000w
Simply put, I wanted a DLS or other SQ brand amp.
My planned install I'll lose about half of the boot but once the amp has its cover I'll regain about 1/4 so wont lose too much space.
Nice guide here, i would want this to go to the how to's section. wiring amps can be a hassle for some people
