    Default SIGNUM 2.8 Turbo

Hi everyone, I am thinking of buying a 2.8 Turbo Signum, Auto, Elite.
Any points to note about the engine? Is it very thirsty, expensive to run? Also this car is listed as a Cat D Insurance settlement. Anyone enlighten me on how risky that would be to buy? looks a really nice car in the piccys is an 57 plate with 19,000 on the clock.

Expensive tax, low 20's mpg, reliable engine if fully serviced and extremely good fun.

or maybe even just broken windows/locks but the insurance had already paid out before the car was recovered. Gonna be a nice motor

Its advertised at £5,850. Thought the mpg would be low, currently got a 2.2 petrol Signum which gets around 35mpg. Boring I know but petrol is just soooo expensive these days.
Can you find out what the reason for the Cat D was? The seller is a small dealer who bought from Ins Companies auction and doesn,t know exactly why, but did have a front wing replaced due to a dent!!

its a bit dear for a cat D bud , motors like that arent selling without an insurance claim ! my suggestion is find a 2.0T signum , plenty of power as standard and very tunable !

    Vehicle : Signum

    Trim : Elite Auto

    Engine : 2.8 V6 Turbo

    Year : 2006

    Default 2.8T Signum

Mine 26mpg since I've had it (12k miles).

Reliable, quick, easy to service (do it myself - no cambelts), head turner (not everyone's got one!).

If you can stomach the fuel consumption and the tax they're sen-bl**dy-sational !!!!!!!

Usually cheap to buy, seems gas guzzlers are not in favour any more !!!!
