When i lost my V5 for my bike, the only option i had was to goto a DVLA office in person and do the paperwork etc.
Not sure about the green slip though
V5's are taking a long time to come through so don't over worry just yet, it took my Vectra one 6 1/2 weeks to arrive.
hi, you can apply for a v5 using a v62 i think its called from a main post office you normally have to pay 25.00 for this but if you supply the little green slip it's free.I would phone dvla first give them the details and they will be able to update you on weather they've received it, if not apply for it
as WBM156 says above, there is a form available from the post office, and if you have the new keeper section then its free otherwise a charge,
DVLA are on a go-slow lately so i'd ring and enquire, they'd printed the mrs's v5 when we bought her corsa, 10days after we bought it, yet we didnt receive it for 6 weeks
just registered a car in my name..took a week to turn around a new log book..
