Default Double din Theft.... Would it or has it been an issue???

I really want a beat 675, 6.2" screen dvd headunit double din. The reason i like this is because it doesnt have a motorised screen as cds go straight in the front therfore will push fully flush into the dash, unlike alot of the 7" ones, which imo look more stealable! the screen doesnt remove and i dont have a garage, am i going to loose sleep over it been stolen or are they not likely to be stolen as it will look flush and standard? Has anyone had there vecs broke into for dvd headunits or are theifs aware vecs are alarmed? Any experience/opinions?? Is it worth parting with hard earned money for a none removable screen unit that maybe nicked?? Thanks guys

if someone wants to steal your radio they will!

just make sure your insurance will cover for an aftermarket unit if it did go walkies

Its not really the radio that bothers me too much if it gets nicked, its the damage they may do to the car getting it!! And my excess on my insurance is £850 so i cudnt claim off that anyway unless it is different for just a radio rather than a crash.
