Default Irmscher reg plate holder question.

Treated myself to these Irmscher plate holders from LMF as my old chrome Irmscher ones looked a little bit tatty with all the stone chips.

What i need to know is how does the bottom securing trim come off with the plastic tool provided ? There were no instructions in the box they came in ! Although i can see a small slot bottom right of the trim.

I just want to put a couple more screws at either end so the holder sits tight against the bumper each side.

I never use the tool tbh. If you pull the middle clip first then it unclips fairly easy.

Just tried that and it won't go, i don't want to force them incase they snap !

Whats the removal method with the tool provided ? Anyone ?

if its the same as my old ones there is a groove to put the tool in on each side.

As John said, you can jst pull it off, so i would glue it down once your plate is in

The tool's in the main frame moulding, just pop it out and store elsewhere.
