    Default Removal of rear arm rest?

    Hi Ya,

    Does anyone know how I can remove just the rear arm rest in a v6 CDTI? 04 model

    Why do you need to remove it

    I did think about that LOL.

    I want to remove it to custom fit a DVD player in it. As I need to drill hold for the cables and cut the leather! So want it off to make it a easier job.

    Sorted now. Went to Argos and bought a dremel and cut the hole with the arm rest in place. DVD now fitted in the rear arm rest

    Been thinking about this myself, how did you get the DVD player to sit in the armrest, how have you fixed it.

    Have you got any pictures ??

    Ahhhh.......

    Good install, not what I was planning though as I don't have an armrest like that, mine is just a pad wrapped in leather.

    I was looking to maybe put a DIN sized plyer into the front of the armrest and when the player isn't it just folds up at of view.
