Default Car Polisher - Which one?

Do any of you use one of those mechanical car polishers?, if so which ones would you recommend. My vectra has a haze on it that just needs a good polish to bring it back to its former glory!
I know its no substitute for good ol' elbow grease but the thought of having to polish the whole estate doesn't appeal to me
    Cheers
    Michael

I've been contemplating this for a while as well Michael.

I have read numerous threads, on various different websites (including the Detailing Section on here as well as Detailing World) and the all too common question is "Which type of polisher should I buy????"

From what I can make out the Orbital polishers are probably the safest place to start where as the rotary polishers are more for the professional users (with regards to paint burn through) but don't quote me on that as I have come across threads where people have gone the whole hog and started off with the Rotary and have mastered the art straight off.

Personally, I think I might start off safe and buy a Kestral DAS6 Pro (Orbital) and get some experience first and see how I get on, then try the rotary, then hopefully I won't end up ballsing it all up

I'm sure others will be along shortly to offer more of an insight as to their experiences.

    Best of luck
    Damo

I bought this one yesterday. They seem to be the weapon of choice.
